Notice regarding an application for an exclusive licence to prospect for liquid and gaseous hydrocarbons entitled "Permis de Hauteville"

By request of 12 January 2000 the company Coparex International, with registered offices at 135, rue Jean-Jacques Rousseau, F-92138 Issy-les-Moulineaux (France), asked for an exclusive licence, for a period of five years, to prospect for liquid and gaseous hydrocarbons, entitled Permis de Hauteville, over an area of some 836 km2, partly in the département of Ain.

The perimeter of this licence is made up of the meridian and parallel arcs joining the vertices defined below by their geographical coordinates, the original meridian being that of Paris.

Interested companies may submit a competing application within a period of ninety days from publication of this notice in accordance with the procedure summarised in "Notice regarding the granting of mining rights for hydrocarbons in France", as published in Official Journal of the European Communities No C 374 of 30 December 1994, p. 11, and established by Decree 94-427 of 19 April 1995 regarding mining rights (Journal officiel de la République française of 22 April 1995).
