Sir,

I have the honour to refer to point 1 of the Exchange of Letters of today's date relating to the 1981 Agreement between the European Community and Poland on trade in the sheepmeat and goatmeat sector.

I also have the honour to confirm that before 31 December 1990, in addition to the ceiling of 6 000 tonnes, a quantity of 2 000 tonnes may be delivered.

I should be obliged if you would kindly acknowledge receipt of this letter.

Please accept, Sir, the assurance of my highest consideration.
