Certificaat dat wordt afgegeven aan begunstigden van tijdelijke bescherming – uit hoofde van Uitvoeringsbesluit (EU) 2022/382 van de Raad van 4 maart 2022 tot vaststelling van het bestaan van een massale toestroom van ontheemden uit Oekraïne in de zin van artikel 5 van Richtlijn 2001/55/EG, en tot invoering van tijdelijke bescherming naar aanleiding daarvan (PB L 71 van 4.3.2022, blz. 1). Dit certificaat voor de tijdelijke bescherming onder Richtlijn 2001/55/EG bestaat in Nederland in de vorm van een O-document of een verblijfssticker. Indien de datum van de verblijfssticker is verlopen, is deze alsnog geldig in combinatie met een verlengingsbrief. De verblijfstitels die worden verstrekt in Nederland geven in combinatie met een geldig reisdocument het recht aan ontheemden om zonder visum de landbuitengrens van het Schengengebied te overschrijden. De verblijfsbewijzen dienen te worden behandeld als zijnde een verblijfsvergunning als bedoeld in Artikel 2, onder 16 van de Schengengrenscode

(Certificate issued to beneficiaries of temporary protection — under Council Implementing Decision (EU) 2022/382 of 4 March 2022 establishing the existence of a mass influx of displaced persons from Ukraine within the meaning of Article 5 of Directive 2001/55/EC, and having the effect of introducing temporary protection (OJ L 71, 4.3.2022, p. 1).). This certificate for temporary protection under Directive 2001/55/EC consists in the Netherlands as an O-document or a residence sticker. If the date of the residence sticker has expired, it is still valid in combination with a renewal letter. The certificates issued in the Netherlands, in combination with a valid travel document, entitle displaced persons to cross the external land border of the Schengen area without a visa. The certificates for temporary protection should be treated as a residence permit as referred to in Article 2(16) of the Schengen Borders Code.
