VERORDENING (EG) Nr. 1486/2006 VAN DE COMMISSIE
van 5 oktober 2006
tot wijziging van Verordening (EG) nr. 2368/2002 van de Raad tot uitvoering van de Kimberleyprocescertificering voor de internationale handel in ruwe diamant
DE COMMISSIE VAN DE EUROPESE GEMEENSCHAPPEN,
Gelet op het Verdrag tot oprichting van de Europese Gemeenschap,
Gelet op Verordening (EG) nr. 2368/2002 van 20 december 2002 van de Raad tot uitvoering van de Kimberleyprocescertificering voor de internationale handel in ruwe diamant (1), en met name op artikel 20,
Overwegende hetgeen volgt:

Volgens artikel 20 van Verordening (EG) nr. 2368/2002 kan de in bijlage II opgenomen lijst van deelnemers aan de Kimberleyprocescertificering worden gewijzigd. |

(2) |
De voorzitter van de Kimberleyprocescertificering heeft in een notitie van 13 september 2006 besloten Nieuw-Zeeland met ingang van 20 september 2006 op te nemen in de lijst van deelnemers aan de Kimberleyprocescertificering. Bijlage II moet derhalve dienovereenkomstig worden gewijzigd, |
HEEFT DE VOLGENDE VERORDENING VASTGESTELD:
Artikel 1
Bijlage II bij Verordening (EG) nr. 2368/2002 wordt vervangen door de bijlage bij deze verordening.
Artikel 2
Deze verordening treedt in werking op de dag van haar bekendmaking in het Publicatieblad van de Europese Unie.
Zij is van toepassing met ingang van 20 september 2006.
Deze verordening is verbindend in al haar onderdelen en is rechtstreeks toepasselijk in elke lidstaat.
