Article 4 1. Pensions for which entitlement has accrued by 1 July 1984 shall be calculated from that date for officials and temporary staff, other than temporary staff covered by Article 2 (d) of the conditions of employment of other servants, by reference to the table of basic monthly salaries laid down in Article 66 of the Staff Regulations, as amended by Article 1 (a) of this Regulation. 2. Pensions for which entitlement has accrued by 1 July 1984 shall be calculated from that date for temporary staff covered by Article 2 (d) of the conditions of employment of other servants by reference to the table of basic monthly salaries laid down in Article 20 of the conditions of employment, as amended by Article 2 (a) of this Regulation. Article 5 With effect from 1 July 1984 '1 July 1983' in the second paragraph of Article 63 of the Staff Regulations is replaced by '1 July 1984'. Article 6 1. With effect from 1 May 1984 the weightings applicable to the remuneration of officials and other servants employed in one of the countries listed below shall be as follows: Yugoslavia 154,9 Israel 818,5 Turkey 128,0 Egypt 311,0 Brazil 264,7 (1) 2. With effect from 16 May 1984 the weightings applicable to the remuneration of officials and other servants employed in one of the countries listed below shall be as follows: Greece 118,4 Italy (Varese) 109,8 (1) Portugal 96,9 Chile 173,8 Venezuela 187,7 3. With effect from 1 July 1984, the weightings applicable to the remuneration of officials and other servants employed in one of the countries listed below shall be as follows: Belgium 100,0 Denmark 116,9 Germany 108,5 France 102,9 Greece 96,0 Ireland 95,1 Italy: - except Varese 98,8 - Varese 101,7 (1) Luxembourg 100,0 Netherlands 104,0 United Kingdom 95,0 Spain 101,0 Portugal 81,7 Switzerland 140,1 Yugoslavia 99,2 United States of America: - except New York 187,3 - New York 202,8 Canada 156,7 Japan 203,8 Turkey 81,2 Austria 120,6 Venezuela 84,9 Brazil 86,2 (1) Australia 161,1 Thailand 195,7 India 150,0 Algeria 158,7 (1) Chile 156,0 Morocco 111,6 Syria 154,4 Tunisia 118,4 Egypt 326,4 Jordan 212,2 Lebanon 151,6 (1) Israel 170,7 4. The weighting applicable to pensions shall be determined in accordance with the second subparagraph of Article 82 (1) of the Staff Regulations. Article 7 1. With effect from 1 July 1984, the weighting applicable to pensions and allowances paid to persons covered by Article 2 of Regulation (EEC, Euratom, ECSC) No 160/80 (2) shall be as follows: Belgium 124,9 Denmark 152,3 Germany 107,5 France 140,6 Ireland 120,4 Italy 142,5 Luxembourg 124,9 Netherlands 105,5 United Kingdom 94,2 2. If a person entitled to a pension declares his home to be in a country other than those listed in this Article, the weighting applicable to the pension shall be that for Belgium. Article 10 With effect from 1 July 1984, the amounts shown in Article 4 of Regulation (EEC, Euratom, ECSC) No 260/68 (2) shall be subject to a weighting of 2,692794. With effect from 1 July 1984, the amounts shown in Article 4 of Regulation (EEC, Euratom, ECSC) No 260/68 shall be subject to a weighting of 1,132395 in the case of persons covered by Article 2 of Regulation (EEC, Euratom, ECSC) No 160/80. Article 11 This Regulation shall enter into force on the day following its publication in the Official Journal of the European Communities.
