Commission notice concerning the amendment of Commission Decision 2001/238/EC, Euratom and the appointment of new members, chairmen and vice-chairmen of the expert groups to assist the Commission on the content and direction of the key actions in the field of research and technological development (2002/C 61/02) (Text with EEA relevance) By Decision of 7 March 2002, the Commission has decided that, as from that date: - the persons whose names are listed in Annex I and who are appointed, by Commission Decision 2001/238/EC, Euratom(1), members of the expert groups set up by Decision 98/610/EC, Euratom(2), as amended by Decision 1999/506/EC, Euratom(3) are no longer members of those groups, - the persons whose names are listed in Annex II are appointed members of the expert groups set up by Decision 98/610/EC, Euratom, as amened by Decision 1999/506/EC, Euratom, until 31 December 2002, - the person whose name is listed in Annex III is appointed Chairman of the expert group referred to in that Annex, - the persons referred to in subparagraphs 2 and 3 are obliged to comply with the requirements of independence and confidentiality appearing in Annex III to Decision 2001/238/EC, Euratom.
