    ASSENT No 1/97 (97/C 100/07)

    By letter dated 14 November 1996 the European Commission requested the assent of the Council of the European Union pursuant to Article 54 (2) of the ECSC Treaty to the grant of a loan to Øresundskonsortier, Copenhagen (DK)/Malmö (S) for the co-financing of an investment project to facilitate the marketing of Community steel.

    The Council gave its assent at its 1 993rd meeting on 13 March 1997.
