Composition of the European Advisory Committee on statistical information in the economic and social spheres (98/C 142/02) In accordance with Decision 91/116/EEC of the Council of 25 February 1991, establishing a European Advisory Committee on statistical information in the economic and social spheres (CEIES) (1), and in particular Article 4 of the said Decision, the Commission, on 15 September 1997, appointed its four representatives on the CEIES: >TABLE> The Council, having consulted the Commission, appointed on 17 November 1997: >TABLE> The CEIES also includes: 1. the Chairman of the Committee on Monetary, Financial and Balance of Payments Statistics: >TABLE> 2. the Presidents or Directors-General of the national statistical institutes of the Member States: >TABLE> (1) Decision 97/255/EC of the Council of 14 April 1997, amending Decision 91/116/EEC (OJ L 59, 6.3.1991, p. 21 and OJ L 102, 19.4.1997, p. 32).
