    For the selection based on qualifications, the following criteria will be taken into consideration by the selection board:

    Professional experience in an economic consultancy, research institute or public department in the field of competition policy, evaluation or regulation.

    Professional experience in a competition or regulatory authority.

    Professional experience in a financial institution.

    4.

    Professional experience in the Mergers and Acquisitions department or the strategic planning department of a multinational firm.

    5.

    Professional experience in the field of economic analysis, econometrics or statistics related to economic ex-post evaluation of public policies and enforcement activities.

    Graduate or postgraduate studies with a specialisation in industrial economics, corporate finance, public finance, applied economics, econometrics or statistics.

    Professional experience in the application of econometric techniques (including tools such as Stata or SPSS) or professional experience in the application of economic modelling (including tools such as Mathematica or Matlab).

    11.

    Experience in academic research or teaching in the field of economic or financial analysis, econometrics or statistics relevant to competition policy or regulation.

    Publications in peer-reviewed academic journals in the field of economic or financial analysis, econometrics or statistics relevant to competition policy or regulation.

    Other publications or working papers in the field of economic or financial analysis relevant to competition policy or regulation.
