A maximum of EUR 2 million per year out of a maximum total budget of EUR 7 million allocated to the scheme

Maximum aid intensity

Small enterprises: 15 % gross grant equivalent of the total cost of eligible investments;

Medium-sized enterprises: 7.5 % gross grant equivalent of the total cost of eligible investments;

Small enterprises located in areas covered by Article 87(3)(c) of the Treaty: 10 % gross grant equivalent of the total cost of eligible investments plus 8 % net grant equivalent;

Medium-sized enterprises located in areas covered by Article 87(3)(c) of the Treaty: 6 % gross grant equivalent of the total cost of eligible investments plus 8 % net grant equivalent

Date of implementation

Publication of the notice inviting applications: Ordinary Supplement to the Regional Official Gazette, General Series, No 46, 4.11.2004. Deadline for submission of applications: 16.2.2005.

Aid will be granted only on presentation by the firms concerned of suitable applications, which may be submitted from the day following publication of the notice. Only investments made after presentation of the application for aid will be eligible

Objective of aid

Aid to existing or newly created SMEs in the tourist accommodation business (hotels, self-catering units, open-air facilities, historic buildings), related activities and the artistic and traditional craftwork sector. The investments concerned by this scheme relate to costs incurred in building work, internal and external finishing, fittings and sporting/recreational equipment, hardware, machinery, outdoor furniture, technical design and supervision of construction work
