    Articolul 46

    Protecţia diplomatică şi consulară

    Orice cetăţean al Uniunii beneficiază, pe teritoriul unei ţări terţe în care statul membru, al cărui resortisant este, nu este reprezentat, de protecţia autorităţilor diplomatice sau consulare ale oricărui stat membru, în aceleaşi condiţii ca şi resortisanţii acelui stat.
