Article 147 In the agricultural sector where trade between one or more new Member States and the Community as constituted on 31 December 1994, or trade between the new Member States themselves, causes serious disturbances on the market of Austria, Finland or Norway before 1 January 2000, the Commission acting at the request of the Member State concerned, shall decide, within 24 hours of receiving such a request, on such protective measures as it considers necessary. The measures thus decided on shall be applicable forthwith, shall take account of the interest of all parties concerned and shall not entail frontier controls.
