COMMISSION REGULATION (EEC) No 3166/83 of 26 October 1983 on applications for aid from the Guidance Section of the European Agricultural Guidance and Guarantee Fund for investment projects in fisheries and aquaculture.

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES,

Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community,

Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 2908/83 of 4 October 1983 introducing a common measure for the restructuring, modernization and development of fisheries and the development of aquaculture (1), and in particular Article 12 (4) thereof,

Whereas applications for aid under the common measure provided for in Regulation (EEC) No 2908/83 contain all the information enabling the projects to be examined by reference to the criteria set out therein;

Whereas, in order to facilitate both rapid examination and comparison of applications, the information must be presented in identical form in each application;

Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation are in accordance with the opinion of the Standing Committee for the Fishing Industry,

HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION:

Article 1

1. Applications for aid from the Guidance Section of the European Agricultural Guidance and Guarantee Fund for investment projects in fisheries and aquaculture must include the information and documents indicated in the Annexes.

2. Applications shall be submitted to the Commission in duplicate. Any supporting document other than the actual forms provided for in the Annexes may be presented in a single copy.

3. If the conditions set out in paragraphs 1 and 2 are not met applications shall not be considered.

4. Applications submitted under Council Regulation (EEC) No 31/83 of 21 December 1982 on an interim common measure for restructuring the inshore fishing industry and aquaculture (2) shall also be acceptable in the form laid down in Commission Regulation (EEC) No 2572/78 (3), as amended by Regulation (EEC) No 1898/80 (4).

Article 2

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States.
