- Initiative summary:
- This initiative concerns amendments to the Fertilising Products Regulation. They are meant to align some technical requirements with subsequent political Union priorities, notably the Farm to Fork strategy (with regard to protection from nutrient leakage) and the Chemicals Strategy of Sustainability (with regard to the introduction of REACH registration for polymers). They also reflect existing practices for processing of bio-waste, to facilitate access to the single market of digestate.
