    DECISION OF THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE

    No 154/2005

    of 2 December 2005

    amending Annex XXI (Statistics) to the EEA Agreement

    THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE,

    Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area, as amended by the Protocol adjusting the Agreement on the European Economic Area, hereinafter referred to as ‘the Agreement’, and in particular Article 98 thereof,

    Whereas:

    (1)

    Annex XXI to the Agreement was amended by Decision of the EEA Joint Committee No 128/2005 (1).

    (2)

    Commission Decision 2005/366/EC of 4 March 2005 implementing Council Directive 95/64/EC on statistical returns in respect of carriage of goods and passengers by sea and amending Annexes thereto (2) is to be incorporated into the Agreement.

    (3)

    Decision 2005/366/EC repeals Commission Decision 2000/363/EC (3), which is incorporated into the Agreement and which is consequently to be repealed under the Agreement,

    HAS DECIDED AS FOLLOWS:

    Article 1

    Annex XXI to the Agreement shall be amended as follows:

    1.

    the text of the second indent (Commission Decision 2000/363/EC) of point 7b (Council Directive 95/64/EC) shall be deleted;

    2.

    the following point shall be inserted after point 7b (Council Directive 95/64/EC):

    ‘7ba.

    32005 D 0366: Commission Decision 2005/366/EC of 4 March 2005 implementing Council Directive 95/64/EC on statistical returns in respect of carriage of goods and passengers by sea and amending Annexes thereto (OJ L 123, 17.5.2005, p. 1).’;

    3.

    the following shall be added in the first indent (Commission Decision 98/385/EC) of point 7b (Council Directive 95/64/EC):

    ‘, as amended by:

    —

    32005 D 0366: Commission Decision 2005/366/EC (OJ L 123, 17.5.2005, p. 1).’

    Article 2

    The texts of Decision 2005/366/EC in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union, shall be authentic.

    Article 3

    This Decision shall enter into force on 3 December 2005, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the Agreement have been made to the EEA Joint Committee (*1).

    Article 4

    This Decision shall be published in the EEA Section of, and in the EEA Supplement to, the Official Journal of the European Union.
