    Title:

    Incentives to research and technological development projects in strategic sectors.

    Incentives to joint research and technological development projects.

    Objective: N 498/2004: The scheme aims at granting aid to enterprises in order to promote the development of industrial research and technological development projects in the aerospace, pharmaceutical, technologically advanced food products and renewable energy sectors, as well as in the sectors composing their value chain. The eligible projects must be conducive to the achievement of products and processes either new or technologically improved when comparing them with those already existing in the Catalan industry.

    N 502/2004: The scheme aims at granting aid to joint research and technological development project carried out by groups of enterprises as defined in point 2.4 of this decision. The eligible projects must significantly increase the technological capacity of Cataluña.

    Sectors: N 498/2004: NACE sectors 24 (chemical products and pharmaceutical industry); 15 (manufacture of food products and beverages); 31 (manufacture of electrical machinery and apparatus n.e.c.); 35 (manufacture of aircraft and spacecraft).

    N 502/2004: This scheme does not target specific sectors in an exclusive way. However, the beneficiaries belonging to the sectors mentioned before will be prioritised.
