DECISION OF THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE
No 128/2006
of 22 September 2006
amending Protocol 47 to the EEA Agreement on the abolition of technical barriers to trade in wine
THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE,
Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area, as amended by the Protocol adjusting the Agreement on the European Economic Area, hereinafter referred to as ‘the Agreement’, and in particular Article 98 thereof,
Whereas:

(1) |
Protocol 47 to the Agreement was amended by Decision of the EEA Joint Committee No 75/2006 of 2 June 2006 (1). |
|
(2) |
Commission Regulation (EC) No 1293/2005 of 5 August 2005 amending Regulation (EEC) No 2676/90 determining Community methods for the analysis of wines (2) is to be incorporated into the Agreement. |
|
(3) |
Commission Regulation (EC) No 1512/2005 of 15 September 2005 amending Regulation (EC) No 753/2002 laying down certain rules for applying Council Regulation (EC) No 1493/1999 as regards the description, designation, presentation and protection of certain wine sector products (3) is to be incorporated into the Agreement, |
HAS DECIDED AS FOLLOWS:
Article 1
Appendix 1 to Protocol 47 to the Agreement shall be amended as follows:

The following indent shall be added in point 1 (Commission Regulation (EEC) No 2676/90):

The following indent shall be added in point 6 (Commission Regulation (EC) No 753/2002):

Article 2
The texts of Regulations (EC) Nos 1293/2005 and 1512/2005 in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union, shall be authentic.
Article 3
This Decision shall enter into force on 23 September 2006, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the Agreement have been made to the EEA Joint Committee (*1).
Article 4
This Decision shall be published in the EEA Section of, and in the EEA Supplement to, the Official Journal of the European Union.
