Notice concerning anti-dumping measures in force in respect of imports into the Community of certain seamless pipes and tubes of iron or non-alloy steel originating in Poland: modification of the name of a company from which an undertaking was accepted (2001/C 199/07) The Commission has received a request to take account of a modification of name from a Polish company, Przedsiebiorstwo Walcownia Rur "RUREXPOL" Spolka zoo (previously known as Huta Czestochowa SA), whose exports to the Community of certain seamless pipes and tubes of iron or non-alloy steel originating in Poland are subject to anti-dumping measures pursuant to Council Regulation (EC) No 2320/97 of 17 November 1997(1) imposing a definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of certain seamless pipes and tubes of iron or non-alloy steel originating, inter alia, in Poland, and pursuant to Commission Decision 97/790/EC of 24 October 1997 accepting undertakings offered by four Polish exporters in connection with the anti-dumping proceeding conerning imports of certain seamless pipes and tubes of iron or non-alloy steel originating, inter alia, in Poland(2). The Commission has examined the information supplied, which satisfactorily demonstrates that all the company's activities linked to the manufacturing, sales and exports of certain seamless pipes and tubes of iron or non-alloy steel are unaffected by the change of name. The Commission therefore concludes that the change of company name in no way affects the findings of the investigation, in particular the exemption from the duty imposed by Council Regulation (EC) No 2320/97 and the undertaking accepted by Commission Decision 97/790/EC. Accordingly, the right of the renamed company to benefit from the individual measure should remain. Therefore, the reference to Huta Czestochowa SA should be read as Przedsiebiorstwo Walcownia Rur "RUREXPOL" Spolka zoo in Articles 1(2) and 2(4) of Council Regulation (EC) No 2320/97 and in Article 1 of Commission Decision 97/790/EC. Similarly, the Taric additional code 8519 previously attributed to Huta Czestochowa SA should remain applicable to the company under its new name, Przedsiebiorstwo Walcownia Rur "RUREXPOL" Spolka zoo.
