- Initiative summary:
- Two types of amendments are considered. To modify some terms in Annexes I and V to REACH to align it with CLP Regulation, it is necessary as the existing terminology comes from two old Directives that were repealed by CLP. To list digestate in Annex V to REACH where compost and biogas are already expressly listed, thereby exempting them from registration obligations. The listing of digestate is considered to be in line with the conditions for a registration exemption in Article 2(7)(b) of REACH.
