    Informazioni della Commissione europea, pubblicate ai sensi dell'articolo 22, paragrafo 2, del regolamento (CE) n. 1005/2008 del Consiglio, riguardanti le notifiche dello Stato di bandiera (elenco degli Stati e delle autorità competenti) effettuate conformemente all'articolo 20, paragrafi 1, 2 e 3, e all'allegato III del regolamento (CE) n. 1005/2008

    Ai sensi dell'articolo 20, paragrafi 1, 2 e 3, e dell'allegato III del regolamento (CE) n. 1005/2008 del Consiglio, del 29 settembre 2008  (1), i seguenti paesi terzi hanno notificato alla Commissione europea le autorità pubbliche che, nell'ambito del sistema di certificazione delle catture stabilito dall'articolo 12 del regolamento, sono abilitate:

    a)

    a immatricolare pescherecci sotto la loro bandiera;

    b)

    a rilasciare, sospendere e revocare licenze ai loro pescherecci;

    c)

    ad attestare la veridicità delle informazioni contenute nei certificati di cattura di cui all'articolo 12 e a convalidare tali certificati;

    d)

    ad attuare, controllare e far rispettare le leggi, i regolamenti e le misure di conservazione e di gestione applicabili ai loro pescherecci;

    e)

    ad effettuare verifiche dei certificati di cattura per coadiuvare le autorità competenti degli Stati membri nell'ambito della cooperazione amministrativa prevista all'articolo 20, paragrafo 4;

    f)

    a trasmettere modelli dei loro certificati di cattura a norma dell'allegato II; e

    g)

    ad aggiornare tali notifiche.

    (1)  Regolamento (CE) n. 1005/2008 del Consiglio, del 29 settembre 2008 , che istituisce un regime comunitario per prevenire, scoraggiare ed eliminare la pesca illegale, non dichiarata e non regolamentata, che modifica i regolamenti (CEE) n. 2847/93, (CE) n. 1936/2001 e (CE) n. 601/2004 e che abroga i regolamenti (CE) n. 1093/94 e (CE) n. 1447/1999 (GU L 286 dell’29.10.2008, pag. 1).

    (2)  Ai sensi dell'articolo 31 del regolamento (CE) n. 1005/2008 del Consiglio, il 5 gennaio 2023 la Commissione europea ha identificato il Camerun come paese non cooperante nella lotta contro la pesca INN (GU L 8 dell'11.1.2023, pag. 4). A norma dell'articolo 33 di detto regolamento il Consiglio dell'Unione europea ha iscritto il Camerun nell'elenco dei paesi non cooperanti nella lotta contro la pesca INN (GU L 56 del 23.2.2023, pag. 26). A norma dell'articolo 38 di tale regolamento è vietata l'importazione nell'Unione di prodotti della pesca catturati da pescherecci battenti bandiera del Camerun.
