PROTOCOL 43 on the Agreement between the EC and the Republic of Austria on the transit of goods by road and rail The Contracting Parties note that simultaneously with the present Agreement, a bilateral Agreement was signed between the European Communities and Austria on the transit of goods by road and rail. Provisions of the bilateral Agreement shall prevail over provisions of the present Agreement to the extent that they cover the same subject matter and as specified in the present Agreement. Six months before the expiration of the Agreement between the European Community and the Republic of Austria on the transit of goods by road and rail, the situation in road transport will be jointly reviewed.
