The Co-President reminded Members that the deadline for requests relating to voting methods was Wednesday, 21 November 2007, 6 p.m.

1.   Substitutes

The Co-President announced the following substitutes: Attard-Montalto (for Ferreira), Battilocchio (for McAvan), Berman (for Arif), Czarnecki (for Aylward), Hutchinson (for Rosati), Klass (for Gaubert), Leinen (for Zani), Maldeikis (for Zíle), Neris (for Bullmann) and Zapalowski (for Bielan).

2.   Report by Mr Martin Magga (Solomon Islands) and Mr John Bowis — Access to healthcare and medicines, with a particular focus on neglected diseases (ACP-EU/100.083/07/fin.)

Mr Bowis presented the report.

4.   Urgent topic No 2: the situation in the Democratic Republic of Congo, in particular in the East, and its impact on the region
