The Commission has decided to close the formal investigation procedure under Article 88(2) of the EC Treaty, initiated on 2 April 2008 (1) in respect of the measure referred to above, recording that the United Kingdom has withdrawn its notification on 26 November 2008 and will not pursue this aid project further.
