    Corrigendum to Council Regulation (EC) No 1463/2006 of 19 June 2006 adapting Regulation (EC) No 1698/2005 on support for rural development by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) by reason of the accession of Bulgaria and Romania to the European Union

    1.

    On page 1, the following recital 4a shall be inserted:

    ‘(4a)

    With a view to granting Bulgaria and Romania the same benefits as the Member States which acceded to the Community on 1 May 2004 in relation to the maximum intensity of aid for investments undertaken to meet the requirements of Council Directive 91/676/EEC of 12 December 1991 concerning the protection of waters against pollution caused by nitrates from agricultural sources (2), Bulgaria and Romania should be added to the list of countries benefiting from the maximum rate of 75 %.

    2.

    On page 1, in Article 1, the following point 3 shall be added:

    ‘3.   In the fourth column of the Annex, in the rows relating to Article 26(2), the sixth paragraph shall be replaced by the following:

    “Of the amount of eligible investment in the Member States which acceded to the Community on 1 May 2004, and in Bulgaria and Romania, for the implementation of Council Directive 91/676/EEC (1) within a maximum period of four years from the date of accession pursuant to Articles 3(2) and 5(1) of that Directive.” ’
