Objective of aid: The scheme provides for both grants and interest subsidies for investment in tourism, in accordance with the definitions in Article 2 of Regulation (EC) No 70/2001

Maximum aid intensity: In accordance with Regulation (EC) No 70/2001, the following rates of aid will be applied: 15 % gge for small firms and 7,5 % gge for medium-sized firms; in areas qualifying for exemption under Article 87(3)(c) of the EC Treaty, 8 % nge + 10 % gge for small firms and 8 % nge + 6 % gge for medium-sized firms

Date of implementation: In accordance with Commission guidelines, aid will be granted for costs incurred by the final recipient from the date of publication of the call for applications.

Only expenditure incurred after the date on which the aid application was submitted is eligible

Duration of scheme: The scheme shall be implemented for the same length of time as SPD Objective 2 2000-06

Objective of aid: The aid is intended for small and medium-sized industrial firms in Objective 2 and phasing-out areas in the Marche

Economic sectors concerned: Sections C, D, E and F of the 1991 Italian Statistical Office (ISTAT) classification of economic activities, subject to the exclusions and limitations laid down by the Community rules on state aid (including export aid and aid to the motor manufacturing industry).

Activities involving the production, processing or marketing of the goods listed in Annex I to the EC Treaty are excluded
