    DECISION OF THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE

    No 85/2007

    of 6 July 2007

    amending Annex VI (Social security) to the EEA Agreement

    THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE,

    Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area, as amended by the Protocol adjusting the Agreement on the European Economic Area, hereinafter referred to as ‘the Agreement’, and in particular Article 98 thereof,

    Whereas:

    (1)

    Annex VI to the Agreement was amended by Decision of the EEA Joint Committee No 118/2006 of 22 September 2006 (1).

    (2)

    Decision of the Administrative Commission of the European Communities on Social Security for Migrant Workers No 204 of 6 October 2005 on model forms necessary for the application of Council Regulations (EEC) No 1408/71 and (EEC) No 574/72 (E 200 series) (2) is to be incorporated into the Agreement.

    (3)

    Decision of the Administrative Commission of the European Communities on Social Security for Migrant Workers No 206 of 15 December 2005 concerning the methods of operation and the composition of the Audit Board of the Administrative Commission on Social Security for Migrant Workers (3) is to be incorporated into the Agreement.

    (4)

    Decisions of the Administrative Commission of the European Communities on Social Security for Migrant Workers No 184 and No 188, presently incorporated into the Agreement, are replaced by Decision No 204.

    (5)

    Decisions of the Administrative Commission of the European Communities on Social Security for Migrant Workers No 86 and No 159, presently incorporated into the Agreement, are replaced by Decision No 206,

    HAS DECIDED AS FOLLOWS:

    Article 1

    Annex VI to the Agreement shall be amended as follows:

    1.

    the texts of points 3.43 (Decision No 158), 3.64 (Decision No 188) and 3.8 (Decision No 86) shall be deleted;

    2.

    the following points shall be inserted after point 3.78 (Decision No 202):

    ‘3.79.

    32006 D 0613: Decision No 204 of the Administrative Commission of the European Communities on Social Security for Migrant Workers of 6 October 2005 on model forms necessary for the application of Council Regulations (EEC) No 1408/71 and (EEC) No 574/72 (E 200 series) (OJ L 254, 16.9.2006, p. 1).

    3.80.

    32006 D 0352: Decision No 206 of the Administrative Commission of the European Communities on Social Security for Migrant Workers of 15 December 2005 concerning the methods of operation and the composition of the Audit Board of the Administrative Commission on Social Security for Migrant Workers (OJ L 130, 18.5.2006, p. 39).’

    Article 2

    The texts of Decisions No 204 and No 206 in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union, shall be authentic.

    Article 3

    This Decision shall enter into force on 7 July 2007, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the Agreement have been made to the EEA Joint Committee (*1).

    Article 4

    This Decision shall be published in the EEA Section of, and in the EEA Supplement to, the Official Journal of the European Union.
