Decision of the EEA Joint Committee No 85/2001 of 19 June 2001 amending Annex XXI (statistics) to the EEA Agreement THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE, Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area, as amended by the Protocol adjusting the Agreement on the European Economic Area, hereinafter referred to as "the Agreement", and in particular Article 98 thereof, Whereas: (1) Annex XXI to the Agreement was amended by Decision No 57/2001 of the Joint Committee of the EEA of 18 May 2001(1). (2) Regulation (EC) No 2516/2000 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 7 November 2000 modifying the common principles of the European system of national and regional accounts in the Community (ESA 95) as concerns taxes and social contributions and amending Council Regulation (EC) No 2223/96(2) is to be incorporated into the Agreement. (3) Council Regulation (EC) No 2223/96(3) does not apply to Liechtenstein, HAS DECIDED AS FOLLOWS: Article 1 The following indent shall be inserted in point 19d (Council Regulation (EC) No 2223/96) of Annex XXI to the Agreement, before the adaptation text: "- 32000 R 2516: Regulation (EC) No 2516/2000 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 7 November 2000 (OJ L 290, 17.11.2000, p. 1)." Article 2 The texts of Regulation (EC) No 2516/2000 in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Communities shall be authentic. Article 3 This Decision shall enter into force on 20 June 2001, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the Agreement have been made to the EEA Joint Committee(4). Article 4 This Decision shall be published in the EEA Section of, and in the EEA Supplement to, the Official Journal of the European Communities. Done at Brussels, 19 June 2001.
