    Initiative summary:
    The aim of the revision of the Council Regulation (EC) No 377/2004 on the creation of an immigration liaison officer’s network is to ensure better coordination and utilisation of the European assets deployed in third countries to work on migration. The proposal will allow for more effective response to the EU policy priorities in areas of risk analysis, prevention of irregular migration and countering related criminal activities, return of irregular migrants and management of legal migration.
