LE CONSEIL DE L'UNION EUROPÉENNE,

vu le traité instituant la Communauté européenne, et notamment ses articles 193 à 195,

vu le traité instituant la Communauté européenne de l'énergie atomique, et notamment ses articles 165 à 167,

vu la convention relative à certaines institutions communes aux Communautés européennes, et notamment son article 5,

vu l'acte concernant les conditions d'adhésion de la république d'Autriche, de la république de Finlande et du royaume de Suède et les adaptations des traités sur lesquels l'Union européenne est fondée, et notamment ses articles 23 et 159 tels qu'ils résultent de la décision du Conseil de l'Union européenne du 1er janvier 1995 adaptant les instruments concernant l'adhésion des nouveaux États membres à l'Union européenne, et notamment ses articles 14 et 33,

vu les candidatures présentées par les gouvernements autrichien et finlandais en date du 1er janvier 1995 et par le gouvernement suédois en date du 19 janvier 1995,

après avoir recueilli l'avis de la Commission des Communautés européennes,

DÉCIDE:
