COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION No 2134/91/ECSC of 19 July 1991 amending Commission recommendation No 556/91/ECSC on Community surveillance of imports of certain iron and steel products covered by the ECSC Treaty and originating in non-member countries

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES,

Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Coal and Steel Community and in particular Article 74 thereof,

Whereas in its recommendation No 556/91/ECSC (1) the Commission imposed Community surveillance on imports into the Community of certain iron and steel products covered by the ECSC Treaty;

Whereas in order to subject to Community surveillance in 1991 a range of products as similar as possible to the range covered by Commission recommendation No 3979/89/ECSC (2) which was applicable in 1990, and in view of the changes made to the combined nomenclature, two subheadings should be added to the list of products of Annex II to recommendation No 556/91/ECSC,

MAKES THE FOLLOWING RECOMMENDATION:

Article 1

Annex II to recommendation No 556/91/ECSC is replaced by the Annex to this recommendation.

Article 2

This recommendation shall take effect on the day of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Communities.

It shall apply until 31 December 1991. Done at Brussels, 19 July 1991. For the Commission
