WRITTEN QUESTION E-1092/98 by Thomas Megahy (PSE) to the Commission (7 April 1998) Subject: Safety of baby walkers In view of the recent report from BEUC indicating that all baby walkers currently on sale on the European market pose a danger to the health of young children, does the Commission intend to take, or propose to the Member States, any immediate action either to restrict their sale or publicize their dangers?
