By decison of 7 September 2000 the Commission has modified its decision of 7 December 1999 appointing the members and substitute members of the Advisory Committee on Fisheries and Aquaculture(1).

Following the appointment to the Advisory Committee on Fisheries and Aquaculture of members respresenting the environment and development interests, the Commission has decided to appoint Ms Sophie des Clers and Ms Danièle le Sauce as members for the environment and development respectively and Ms Sebastián Losada Figueiras and Ms Béatrice Gorez as substitute members.

The appointments will come into force on the day following publication in the Official Journal of the European Communities and will remain in force until the whole Committee is renewed on 9 December 2002.

The name of the Vice-Chairman of working group IV should read Mr M. Vieites Baptista de Sousa instead of Mr M. Vieites Baptista da Silva, as published by mistake in appointment 1999/C 357/03.
