- Initiative summary:
- To step up the inclusion of the EU’s Roma population, a new EU Roma strategic framework for equality, inclusion and participation was adopted in October 2020, followed in 2021 by a Council Recommendation. The strategic framework set a number of targets up to 2030 and invited the Member States to complete the development of their national Roma strategic frameworks by September 2021. This Communication will assess those national strategic frameworks.
