    Initiative summary:
    The act modifies the elements of the CAP Strategic Plans that need to be described by the Member States. In particular, it introduces the possibility for crop diversification under GAEC 7 and removes the obligation related to maintaining a share of land non-productive under GAEC 8. It includes the new reporting requirements that Member States have to offer to farmers as regards the eco-schemes on biodiversity, which replace the current GAEC 8 obligation. It also includes a section to report on the derogations used by the Member States.
