The President announced that the Conference of Presidents had decided to convene an extraordinary sitting, in accordance with Rule 134(3) of the Rules of Procedure, on Wednesday, 23 June 2010 from 15.00 to 17.00. The sitting would enable Herman Van Rompuy (President of the European Council) to report to Parliament on the meeting of the European Council on 17 June 2010, in accordance with Article 15(6) of the Treaty on European Union.
