Communication from the Commission pursuant to Article 4(1)(a) of Council Regulation (EEC) No 2408/92

Revision by Ireland of public service obligations in respect of scheduled air services in Ireland

1.

Ireland has decided to revise the public service obligations published in OJ C 39 of 16 February 2005 pursuant to Article 4(1)(a) of Council Regulation (EEC) No 2408/92 of 23 July 1992 on access for Community air carriers to intra-Community air routes, in respect of scheduled air services on the following routes with effect from 22 July 2008:

Donegal-Dublin

Sligo-Dublin

Galway-Dublin

Kerry-Dublin

Knock-Dublin

Derry-Dublin.

2.

The revisions are as follows:

(a)

The maximum fare will be EUR 100 each way in respect of at least 80 % of the minimum seating capacity per day each way as specified for each of the routes in question.
