COUNCIL DECISION 2014/700/CFSP
of 8 October 2014
amending Decision 2013/183/CFSP concerning restrictive measures against the Democratic People's Republic of Korea
THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION,
Having regard to the Treaty on European Union, and in particular Article 29 thereof,
Having regard to Council Decision 2013/183/CFSP concerning restrictive measures against the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (1), and in particular Article 19 thereof,
Whereas:

On 22 April 2013, the Council adopted Decision 2013/183/CFSP. |
(2) |
On 28 July 2014, the Sanctions Committee established pursuant to United Nations Security Council Resolution 1718 (2006) concerning the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (the ‘Sanctions Committee’), approved the addition of a new entity to its consolidated list of individuals and entities subject to restrictive measures. |
(3) |
On 30 July 2014, the Sanctions Committee updated the list of individuals and entities subject to restrictive measures. |
(4) |
In accordance with Article 22(1) of Decision 2013/183/CFSP, the list set out in Annex I to that Decision should therefore be amended accordingly. |
(5) |
Furthermore, in the light of the reported decease of one listed individual, Annex II to Decision 2013/183/CFSP should also be amended accordingly, |
HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:
Article 1
Annexes I and II to Decision 2013/183/CFSP are amended as set out in the Annex to this Decision.
Article 2
This Decision shall enter into force on the day of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.
