    No 103/2001

    of 28 September 2001

    amending Annex I (Veterinary and phytosanitary matters) to the EEA Agreement

    THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE,

    Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area, as amended by the Protocol adjusting the Agreement on the European Economic Area, hereinafter referred to as "the Agreement", and in particular Article 98 thereof,

    Whereas:

    (1) Annex I to the Agreement was amended by Decision of the EEA Joint Committee No 61/2001 of 19 June 2001(1).

    (2) Commission Regulation (EC) No 1353/2000 of 26 June 2000 concerning the permanent authorisation of an additive and the provisional authorisation of new additives, new additive uses and new preparations in feedingstuffs(2) is to incorporated into the Agreement.

    (3) Commission Regulation (EC) No 1887/2000 of 6 September 2000 on the provisional authorisation of a new additive in feedingstuffs(3) is to be incorporated into the Agreement.

    (4) Commission Regulation (EC) No 2437/2000 of 3 November 2000 concerning the permanent authorisation of an additive and the provisional authorisation of new additives in feedingstuffs(4) is to be incorporated into the Agreement.

    (5) Commission Regulation (EC) No 2697/2000 of 27 November 2000 concerning the provisional authorisations of additives in feedingstuffs(5) is to be incorporated into the Agreement,

    HAS DECIDED AS FOLLOWS:

    Article 1

    The following points shall be inserted after point 1o (Commission Regulation (EC) No 654/2000) in Chapter II of Annex I to the Agreement: "1p. 32000 R 1353: Commission Regulation (EC) No 1353/2000 of 26 June 2000 concerning the permanent authorisation of an additive and the provisional authorisation of new additives, new additive uses and new preparations in feedingstuff (OJ L 155, 28.6.2000, p. 15).

    1q. 32000 R 1887: Commission Regulation (EC) No 1887/2000 of 6 September 2000 on the provisional authorisation of a new additive in feedingstuff (OJ L 227, 7.9.2000, p. 13).

    1r. 32000 R 2437: Commission Regulation (EC) No 2437/2000 of 3 November 2000 concerning the permanent authorisation of an additive and the provisional authorisation of new additives in feedingstuff (OJ L 280, 4.11.2000, p. 28).

    1s. 32000 R 2697: Commission Regulation (EC) No 2697/2000 of 27 November 2000 concerning the provisional authorisations of additives in feedingstuff (OJ L 319, 16.12.2000, p. 1)."

    Article 2

    The texts of Commission Regulations (EC) No 1353/2000, No 1887/2000, No 2437/2000 and No 2697/2000 in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Communities, shall be authentic.

    Article 3

    This Decision shall enter into force on 29 September 2001, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the Agreement have been made to the EEA Joint Committee(6).

    Article 4

    This Decision shall be published in the EEA Section of, and in the EEA Supplement to, the Official Journal of the European Communities.
