COUNCIL IMPLEMENTING DECISION (CFSP) 2022/1243

of 18 July 2022

implementing Decision 2012/642/CFSP concerning restrictive measures in view of the situation in Belarus and the involvement of Belarus in the Russian aggression against Ukraine

THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION,

Having regard to the Treaty on European Union, and in particular Article 31(2) thereof,

Having regard to Council Decision 2012/642/CFSP of 15 October 2012 concerning restrictive measures in view of the situation in Belarus and the involvement of Belarus in the Russian aggression against Ukraine (1), and in particular Article 6(1) and (3) thereof,

Having regard to the proposal from the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy,

Whereas:

On 15 October 2012, the Council adopted Decision 2012/642/CFSP.

(2)

Further to an evaluation of the relevant circumstances, one entry should be deleted from the list of natural and legal persons, entities and bodies set out in Annex I to Decision 2012/642/CFSP.

(3)

Decision 2012/642/CFSP should therefore be amended accordingly,

HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:

Article 1

Annex I to Decision 2012/642/CFSP is amended in accordance with the Annex to this Decision.

Article 2

This Decision shall enter into force on the date following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.
