- Initiative summary:
- The Commission provides information on agricultural markets to farmers and other stakeholders in the food supply chain, based on notifications by Member States and economic operators. Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/1746 introduced new notification obligations, in particular on prices along the food supply chain. This initiative aims to adjust these obligations, helping to achieve the Commission’s objective to reduce the reporting burden on Member States and economic operators.
