Verification of suppliers and other operational aspects for the functioning of product database - EPREL
COMMISSION IMPLEMENTING REGULATION (EU) …/... laying down operational details for the product database established under Regulation (EU) 2017/1369 of the European Parliament and of the Council
The energy labelling Regulation requires the Commission to establish and maintain a product database, which resulted in the creation of the European Product Registry for Energy Labelling (EPREL). Since 2019, suppliers enter information in EPREL on products covered by a delegated act before they are placed on the Union market. This new act aims to improve the registry’s functioning by detailing certain requirements related notably to verification of the suppliers’ identity.
