- Initiative summary:
- The EU Strategy for energy system integration and the hydrogen Strategy set out how decarbonised gases and related markets could contribute to achieving the goals of the European green deal. The current EU rules on gas require adaptation to facilitate the market entry of renewable and low-carbon gases and to remove any undue regulatory barriers.
