Supply of crisis-relevant medical countermeasures in the event of a public health emergency at the European Union level
It sets out a framework of measures to be activated in the event of a public health emergency, enabling the European Union (EU) to take the necessary measures for a sufficient and timely availability and supply of crisis-relevant medical countermeasures.

Scope
The regulation sets out an emergency framework in the event of a public health emergency. The following measures may be activated:
