SUMMARY OF:
WHAT IS THE AIM OF THIS REGULATION?
It aims to ensure a uniform, Europe-wide method for the collection and compiling of statistical data on fishery products landed on national territories. These statistics are an important tool of the common fisheries policy which has set catch limits designed to be sustainable and to help ensure the long-term maintainance of fish stocks.
It repeals Regulation (EEC) No 1382/91.
