Explanatory Notes to the Combined Nomenclature of the European Union

Pursuant to Article 9(1)(a) of Council Regulation (EEC) No 2658/87 (1), the Explanatory Notes to the Combined Nomenclature of the European Union (2) are hereby amended as follows:

On page 16, in the Explanatory Notes to Chapter 2, under the heading ‘General’, the following point 6 is added:

‘6.

Meat and meat offal containing preservatives, stabilisers or antioxidants added for stopping the degradation of those products, remain classified in this chapter.’
