Information concerning the entry into force of the extension of the Agreement for scientific and technological cooperation between the European Community and the Government of the United States of America [2023/2436]

The extension of the Agreement for scientific and technological cooperation between the European Community and the Government of the United States of America, signed on 5 December 1997  (1) and renewed in 2004 (2), 2009 (3) 2014 (4) and 2018 (5), has, in accordance with Article 12(a) thereof, entered into force on 12 October 2023. The renewal of the Agreement for a further period of 5 years, in accordance with Article 12(b) thereof, is effective as from 14 October 2023.
