DECISION OF THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE No 14/2020
of 7 February 2020
amending Annex II (Technical regulations, standards, testing and certification) to the EEA Agreement [2023/292]
THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE,
Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (“the EEA Agreement”), and in particular Article 98 thereof,
Whereas:

(1) |
Commission Recommendation (EU) 2018/2050 of 19 December 2018 on aligning the scope of and conditions for general transfer licences for the purposes of demonstration and evaluation as referred to in point (c) of Article 5(2) of Directive 2009/43/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council (1) is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement. |

(2) |
Commission Recommendation (EU) 2018/2051 of 19 December 2018 on aligning the scope of and conditions for general transfer licences for the purposes of repair and maintenance as referred to in point (d) of Article 5(2) of Directive 2009/43/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council (2) is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement. |

Commission Recommendation (EU) 2018/2052 of 19 December 2018 on aligning the scope of and conditions for general transfer licences for the purpose of exhibition as referred to in point (c) of Article 5(2) of Directive 2009/43/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council (3) is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement. |

Annex II to the EEA Agreement should therefore be amended accordingly, |
HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:
Article 1
The following points are inserted after point 17 (Commission Recommendation (EU) 2016/2124) of Chapter XIX of Annex II to the EEA Agreement:

Article 2
The texts of Recommendations (EU) 2018/2050, (EU) 2018/2051 and (EU) 2018/2052 in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union, shall be authentic.
Article 3
This Decision shall enter into force on 8 February 2020, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the EEA Agreement have been made (*1).
Article 4
This Decision shall be published in the EEA Section of, and in the EEA Supplement to, the Official Journal of the European Union.
