DECISION OF THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE
No 74/2007
of 6 July 2007
amending Annex I (Veterinary and phytosanitary matters) to the EEA Agreement
THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE,
Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area, as amended by the Protocol adjusting the Agreement on the European Economic Area, hereinafter referred to as ‘the Agreement’, and in particular Article 98 thereof,
Whereas:
(1) |
Annex I to the Agreement was amended by Decision of the EEA Joint Committee No 39/2007 of 27 April 2007 (1). |
(2) |
Commission Regulation (EC) No 2028/2006 of 18 December 2006 amending Regulation (EC) No 600/2005 as regards the authorisation of the feed additive preparation of Bacillus licheniformis DSM 5749 and Bacillus subtilis DSM 5750, belonging to the group of microorganisms (2) is to be incorporated into the Agreement. |
(3) |
Commission Regulation (EC) No 108/2007 of 5 February 2007 amending Regulation (EC) No 1356/2004 as regards the conditions for authorisation of the feed additive Elancoban, belonging to the group of coccidiostats and other medicinal substances (3) is to be incorporated into the Agreement. |
(4) |
Commission Regulation (EC) No 109/2007 of 5 February 2007 concerning the authorisation of monensin sodium (Coxidin) as a feed additive (4), as corrected by OJ L 37, 9.2.2007, p. 10, is to be incorporated into the Agreement. |
(5) |
Commission Regulation (EC) No 141/2007 of 14 February 2007 concerning a requirement for approval in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 183/2005 of the European Parliament and of the Council for feed business establishments manufacturing or placing on the market feed additives of the category ‘coccidiostats and histomonostats’ (5) is to be incorporated into the Agreement. |
(6) |
Commission Regulation (EC) No 188/2007 of 23 February 2007 concerning the authorisation of a new use of Saccharomyces cerevisiae (Biosaf SC 47) as a feed additive (6) is to be incorporated into the Agreement, |
HAS DECIDED AS FOLLOWS:
Article 1
Chapter II of Annex I to the Agreement shall be amended as follows:

Article 2
The texts of Regulations (EC) No 2028/2006, (EC) No 108/2007, (EC) No 109/2007, as corrected by OJ L 37, 9.2.2007, p. 10, (EC) No 141/2007 and (EC) No 188/2007 in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union, shall be authentic.
Article 3
This Decision shall enter into force on 7 July 2007, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the Agreement have been made to the EEA Joint Committee (*1).
Article 4
This Decision shall be published in the EEA Section of, and in the EEA Supplement to, the Official Journal of the European Union.
