COUNCIL DECISION
of 25 January 1999
concerning the external auditors of the national central banks
(1999/70/EC)
Article 1
1. Mazars Réviseurs d'entreprises/Mazars Bedrijfsrevisoren SCRL/CVBA are hereby approved as the external auditors of the Nationale Bank van België/Banque Nationale de Belgique for the financial years 2017 to 2022.
2. KPMG AG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft is hereby approved as the external auditors of the Deutsche Bundesbank for the financial years 2015 to 2020.
3. KPMG Auditores S.L. are hereby approved as the external auditors of the Banco de España for the financial years 2013 to 2017.
4. Deloitte & Associés and KPMG SA are hereby approved as the external auditors of the Banque de France for the financial years 2012 to 2017.
BEAS is hereby approved as the deputy auditors to Deloitte & Associés and KPMG Audit FS I SAS as deputy auditors to KPMG SA for the financial years 2012 to 2017.
5. Mazars are hereby approved as the external auditors of Banc Ceannais na hÉireann/the Central Bank of Ireland for the financial years 2016 to 2020.
6. BDO Italia S.p.A. are hereby approved as the external auditors of the Banca d'Italia for the financial years 2016 to 2022.
7. DELOITTE AUDIT SARL are hereby approved as the external auditors of the Banque centrale du Luxembourg for the financial years 2014 to 2018.
8. Deloitte Accountants BV are hereby approved as the external auditors of De Nederlandsche Bank for the financial years 2012 to 2018.
9. KPMG Wirtschaftsprüfungs- und Steuerberatungs AG is hereby approved as the external auditors and PwC Wirtschaftsprüfung GmbH as the alternate external auditors of the Österreichische Nationalbank for the financial years 2013 to 2017.
10. PricewaterhouseCoopers & Associados — Sociedade de Revisores Oficiais de Contas, Lda. is hereby approved as the external auditors of the Banco de Portugal for the financial years 2011 to 2016.
11. PricewaterhouseCoopers Oy is hereby approved as the external auditors of Suomen Pankki for the financial years 2013 to 2019.
12. Deloitte Certified Public Accountants S.A. are hereby approved as the external auditors of the Bank of Greece for the financial years 2017 to 2021.
13. Ernst & Young d.o.o. is hereby approved as the external auditor of Banka Slovenije for the financial years 2015 to 2017.
14. PricewaterhouseCoopers Limited is hereby approved as the external auditors of the Central Bank of Cyprus for the financial years 2018 to 2022.
15. PricewaterhouseCoopers are hereby approved as the external auditors of the Bank Ċentrali ta' Malta/Central Bank of Malta for the financial years 2014 to 2018.
16. Deloitte Audit s.r.o. is hereby approved as the external auditors of Národná banka Slovenska for the financial years 2017 to 2020.
17. KPMG Baltics OÜ are hereby approved as the external auditors of Eesti Pank for the financial years 2016 to 2020.
18. KPMG Baltics SIA is hereby approved as the external auditors of the Latvijas Banka for the financial years 2015 to 2019.
19. UAB PricewaterhouseCoopers are hereby approved as the external auditors of the Lietuvos bankas for the financial years 2015 to 2017.
Article 2
This Decision shall be notified to the ECB.
Article 3
This Decision shall be published in the Official Journal of the European Communities.
