DECISION OF THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE No 171/2019
of 14 June 2019
amending Annex XIII (Transport) to the EEA Agreement [2022/2163]
THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE,
Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (“the EEA Agreement”), and in particular Article 98 thereof,
Whereas:

Decision of the EEA Joint Committee No 196/2018 of 21 September 2018 (1) erroneously repealed the text of adaptation (j) in point 66wn of Annex XIII to the EEA Agreement. |

(2) |
This deletion should only take effect as of 2 January 2020. The adaptation text is thus to be reinserted and subsequently repealed with effect from 2 January 2020. |

(3) |
Annex XIII to the EEA Agreement should therefore be amended accordingly, |
HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:
Article 1
Point 66wn (Commission Regulation (EU) No 677/2011) of Annex XIII to the EEA Agreement shall be amended as follows:

The following text is inserted in adaptation (j): ‘In Article 21 first sentence, with regard to the EFTA States, the word “Commission” shall read “EFTA Surveillance Authority”.’ |

2. |
The text of adaptation (j) shall be deleted with effect from 2 January 2020. |
Article 2
This Decision shall enter into force on 15 June 2019, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the EEA Agreement have been made (*).
Article 3
This Decision shall be published in the EEA Section of, and in the EEA Supplement to, the Official Journal of the European Union.
